In 2024, the University of Colorado rejoined the Big 12 Conference, making its first appearance at Big 12 Football Media Day at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. With 16 programs represented, the event was packed with media outlets conducting interviews with head coaches and select players ahead of the season.
BuffStampede.com needed a different angle—coverage that went beyond standard press conferences. I focused on capturing the energy of the event, from CU’s presence to unscripted moments with mascots, cheerleaders, and the stadium setting that brought humor and personality to the day.
The coverage gained notable traction, with Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders sharing some of my images on his personal social platforms, earning 49.3k and 71.1k likes on Instagram, demonstrating the power of authentic imagery.
